Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Limerick

The Good:

• Clean rooms
• Nice facilities with outdoor hot tub (small but nice)
• Friendly staff

The Bad:

• The building itself is a little dated
• Location is a 10 minute drive from the city

Verdict:

Again, for us, it was a perfect base to explore Galway and Knock. We wouldn’t consider it a budget-travel friendly accommodation, and we were lucky to use our Carlson Club points for free nights. Rates posted online (as of Nov 2014) are around $135-$160/night.
